Financial Donation

We shall never mislead you about where your money goes, and certainly we shall not waste it.
The activities and projects we engage in are always carefully monitored so that your money is directed wherever the need is greatest, in ways that ensure that it will be used most effectively.

Your Donation

As the donor, YOU will decide how your donation will be used. You can choose to allocate it to the Research Fund to help support our research activities; or you may allocate it to a specific project (see Sponsor a Project).
On the other hand, instead of a one-off donation you may decide to Leave a Bequest to the Venezie Institute, or to Establish a Prize in order to commemorate somebody you love. There are many ways in which your financial donation can be used and the choice is only yours!

Donation Procedure

Donations may be made either by Cash, Cheque, Postal Order or by Bank Transfer directly into the Institute's account:

  • Cash:
Do not send cash by Post, but come and meet us personally at our Headquarters Office in London (UK) - please call us beforehand on 020 7589 2909.

  • Cheque/Postal Order - always give a clear reference (i.e. write your name and address on the back of it) unless you wish to keep your support anonymous:
    - if in Sterling make it payable to "Venezie Institute".
    - if in Euros make it payable to "Confederazione Veneziana".

  • Bank Transfer -
    - if in Sterling:
    Account name: Venezie Institute
    Lloyds TSB Bank plc
    Kensington High Street branch
    BIC no: LOYDGB21025
    IBAN no: GB94 LOYD 3094 6502 4549 74

    - if in Euros:
    Account name: Confederazione Veneziana
    Banca del CentroVeneto
    Bresseo di Teolo branch
    BIC no: ICRAITR1GE5
    IBAN no: IT19 P085 9062 9200 0008 1004 784

If you are outside the UK or Italy the preferred method for your donation would be by bank transfer. Please do not send us Cheques/Postal Orders if there are other procedures available as this will incur high banking fees to us.
