There is no better way to commemorate
somebody dear to you or to promote excellence in your area
of interest, than by establishing a perpetual prize (or bursary)
to reward deserving university students or researchers of
outstanding ability.
Donations from Individuals
By establishing a Prize or a Bursary, either to celebrate
a special occasion or as a perpetual tribute to the life and
work of somebody dear to you, you will be supporting deserving
individuals in their university studies and recognizing the
intellectual achievements of outstanding researchers and students.
The sums you donate will be used to set up a perpetual fund.
You will decide the objects of the fund, the frequency of
the Prize (or Bursary), its amount and its purpose. The grant
will either carry your name, or the name of the person dear
to you. It will be administered by the Venezie Institute on
your behalf and according to your directives. Finally, you
will have the right to sit on the judging panel and will have
casting vote.
Whatever the event, dedicating a Prize (or a Bursary) is
the ideal way to celebrate a special occasion, or to show
someone you care about them. Please contact us for further
details if you wish to answer our appeal.
Donations from Companies
Prizes and Bursaries are a way for companies to show their
appreciation for quality academic institutions and to ensure
that a supply of educated personnel will continue to be available
to them. The award would in fact allow your company to approach,
and be approached by, exceptional future employees thus providing
you with high value human assets at a relatively low cost.
Furthermore, your company will be able to advertise its corporate
image at a low cost and will complement other advertising
programs without conflict.
The sums donated by your company will be used to set up a
fund.
Objects of the fund will be decided in consultation with you.
They can range from providing assistance to students (or researchers)
in case of financial hardship, to recognizing a researcher's
outstanding contributions in her/his area of research, to
providing support to a specific project. Your company will
decide the frequency of the Prize (or Bursary), its amount,
its name and its purpose. The grant will be administered by
the Venezie Institute on behalf and according to your company's
directives. Finally, a company representative will have the
right to sit on the judging panel and will have casting vote.
